Abruptio Placentae - Premature separation of the normally implanted placenta. |

Dystocia - Difficult childbirth or labor. |

Fetal Membranes, Premature Rupture - Spontaneous rupture of amniotic sac before the onset of uterine contractions. |

Placenta Accreta - Abnormal adherence of part or all of the placenta to the uterine wall, with partial or complete absence of the decidua basalis, especially of the spongiosum layer. (Dorland, 27th ed) |

Placenta Praevia - A placenta which develops in the lower uterine segment, in the zone of dilatation, so that it covers or adjoins the internal os. Painless hemorrhage in the last trimester, particularly during the eighth month, is the most common symptom. (Dorland, 27th ed) |

Postpartum Hemorrhage - The presence of abnormal uterine bleeding immediately after LABOR, OBSTETRIC or childbirth. |
